http://www.reviewopedia.com/minvestment.htm

I've received quite a few emails recently asking me if Minvestment is a legitimate money-making opportunity. On the their website they claim to be a private investment company that's been operating since 2000.

I've seen websites like this before as most HYIP websites look very similar. Yes, that's right, Minvestment is an HYIP even though they claim to be investing in real estate in southeast Asia and developing oil fields highly promising areas of the world.

All HYIPs claim to be involved in highly lucrative (and secretive) investments in faraway places. And there are a few other clues that make Minvestment easy to place. They have a poorly designed website which gives very little detail about their operations.

There is no phone number or address of where to contact them and they are clearly based in a country with very little regulation and consumer protection.

If you're not clear about what an HYIP is then here's a quick explanation.....

In this type of scheme, early investors are paid back with their own money and the money of future investors. Since initial investors are getting returns, they unknowingly (or knowingly for some) perpetuate the scam by recruiting others. This goes on until the stream of new customers dries up or the fund operator decides to disappear with the money.

You might ask yourself why anyone would even take these claims seriously? The catch is that these HYIP scams can make you serious money in the short term. The larger the HYIP the longer it can go before the bottom falls out.

Some HYIPs have folded the first day and others have been running successfully for months. In fact investing your money in any HYIP is as good as playing it in the nearest casino.

No HYIPs are legal. They are often run by underground people or groups looking to make a quick buck.

So all HYIPs are inherently scams even if they are currently paying out returns, and that can change in an instant. Even further, if you do get lucky enough to make sizeable returns from an HYIP you cannot claim this on your taxes because it's an illegal investment and will have to break the law once again by not declaring this income to the government.

I'm convinced now that the "davidgang" crew is really and truly behind MI just like they claimed. The addition of Liberty Reserve as an additional way to make deposits when their e-bullion account was blocked to new spends is what convinced me since this SHOULD have been a real warning sign to members but instead they're rationalizing the addition and putting a positive spin on it.

I think this was exactly what the davidgang figured would happen and they're laughing their rears off at the way MI members absolutely refuse to stop sending them money no matter how many red flags they send up!

It fits their "we tried to warn you" MO perfectly.

Now that a couple of people have publicly stated they've gone unpaid, I wonder how the faithful will rationalize this? I also wonder how many more there are out there in the same situation who don't post in forums.

The cheerleaders will rationalize it by saying that those who have not been paid are naysayers. When in actuality, they have been MI supporters all along. Up and until they have posted not being paid.

There are some now really starting to question them though with the posts not being paid and all that. Nobody did not dispute me last night when I said why did they not just say that their EBullion account got blocked?

It doesn't matter WHATanyone says at the minute.

Pure mathematics says the end is near, there's no going back or last minute miracles.

This is the time when it's possible to easily pick the "true believers" from the official "cheerleaders"

The true cheerleaders like JDT, QuazzyWabbit and Tekapa23 have already slotted in their escape posts with stuff like "we all know it's gambling" and "never invest more than you can afford to lose" so after the inevitable collapse they can say "we're innocent, we warned you"

It's only the "true believers" who are still stuck on Minvestment lasting for years.

There seems to be some rifts starting to happen. Some say it is not a scam, and others say it is a scam and it will fail.

MI down for most of the day. Back up again. Now we have Admin damage control coming in.
At MMG..3 new posters that just signed up today. Imagine that.
One poster of course has already made it to his 150 maturity. And by golly, his account matured in DEC??? Yep, Dec. But BUT BUT did not bother to sign up to MMG until this very day. TODAY.
Oh and his wonderous report (lies). The grand news that he did not fill necessary to report sooner.
"Gee guys, did you know that when you get to your mature date, you DON"T get paid the full amount As everyone thought). But MI pays you daily 5% of your account balance.
Even though others with smaller payouts did get their full amount at the end of their mature date like Randy at MMG did.

Like we did not see this coming...dahhh.

http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Minvestme...40#entry4632240

.Not a word spoken. The sheep just let it ride. Just like PN said. A change in rules of how payouts would be done. Supposedly was a month ago this new poster new of it. Just had to tell everyone this now though of course.
FLEECING OF THE SHEEP.
